Surrey India Arts Club is offering training in Punjabi folk dances in a
tradition of excellence since 1975 to young Indo Canadian living in Lower
Mainland. In January 2004, Surrey India Arts Club opened its own 2300 sq. ft.
spacious dance studio, with wood floors where Bhangra and dhol classes are
offered students from age 3 to adults. Currently we have around 200 wonderful
students with us for dance and around 30 students learning Dhol. These classes
are taught by a faculty of expert, caring and dedicated instructors. Students
enjoy both dance training and neat, clean and safe facility.
At Surrey India Arts Club we do not expect every student to pursue dance as a
career but we do believe that sound training in the arts gives our students
valuable skills and experience they can apply to every aspect of their lives
regardless of what they choose as a career. The goal here is to give a rich
experience of the performing arts to all our students.
